Razor

by Miss Lonely Teacher   Apr 1, 2011

His eyes shine
in the moonlight
they glisten and gleam
as he's held aloof.
i await his bite
such a sweet lullaby
"hush now
be still
don't fight
sweet release"
he promises heavenly escape
and no more pain
or confusion and suffering
his offers are tempting
tantalizing.but he's broken so many
of those honey sweet promises
how can i trust him anymore
when he laughs in my face?
my silver eyed
angel of death
