Don't judge me

by Yakari Gabriel   Apr 7, 2011

The smell of flowers fills the air.
immediately the heart knows..
its her

drums beat in my chest.

Oh how I long to hold her..
to feel her warm skin against mine
plant butterflies kisses on her neck

And tell her...

that I only know of love when she is next to me
that I only know of fear when she is far away
that I only know of loneliness when I let go of her hand..

Don't judge me,
For love is never wrong
and I'm not twisted.

I don't know if I truly enjoyed the repetition much, it worked but I don't think it added that extra strength.

I love your thoughts here and how they echo. That your deepest heart knows when she is near and the beat reverberates...You are strong yourself and this poem speaks so, with inspiration that we cannot find time to judge in this world...you are so right, love never judges, it is THE truth.

Thank you so much for your kind and honest comments, you know always they are greatly appreciated!

    Take care always,
    MaryAnne
