My Angel

by Hollow Face   Apr 20, 2011

She speaks so softly
a sad angel in human skin
she drops to her knees as she prays to him
i can only take so much before i drop
out my heart throbs wth sorrow
my dreams filled with doubt
she turns to me to let me know
that she will miss me when she goes
her gaze locks with mine
her pale face enlaced with dread
i finally read her signs and i'm powerless
as she says i can only take so much before i drop
out my heart throbs with sorrow
i strangle a shout until
i know she'll be my angel till i go

This poem really speaks to me...
    powerful wording
"out my heart throbs with sorrow"
I love the way that is written.
