April Fool

by Michael D Nalley   Apr 21, 2011

An April fool endures the endearing showers
that saturate the soil in this season.
The sun seems closer at this time
as the earth turns and tilts through
heaven's halo, or the rainbows that dissect
the light so bright it illuminates the horizon.
There lies my pot of gold.
