Knowledge in time and power

by Bianca Sanabria   Apr 30, 2011

A performance quite dismay

And you may think not anymore of a day

For day and night

Not merely what you believe, well here day is supreme

the night covers half the globe

And the seconds fill the minutes and the minutes fuel the hour and hours take away the hunger of the

day and the days well they terminate months and months turn into years and the story never ends

time forever will persist

and what then

who can you be

father time

are you the ticking bomb

that which we call clock

timer of doom

occurrence and simple play

shall I wait and see

every moment eaten

I am consumed by the all powerful ideal

For it is not human of any sort

Alien perhaps

Yet far more unfamiliar

Knowledge is very much so power

And we lack the knowledge of time

we cannot overpower it

We cannot control

For misuse

And too much familiarity with procrastination

If it is not only that we cannot seem to hold any proper knowledge of time
But more so, is it that we do not deserve such privelage?
