Reality Check

by ECILA ice   Apr 30, 2011

Borrowed knowledge from Plato,
Logic had escaped from their shells.
Where are these evidences of ripen wisdom?
Or these have been rotten?
Spoiled by the warmness of throne?

This man in front of me
Speak words that glisten,
Yet underneath its sweetness is a venom
That paralyzes the progress of our future...

Borrowed knowledge from Plato,
Logic had escaped from their shells.
Where are these evidences of ripen wisdom?
Or these have been rotten?
Spoiled by the abundant cornucopia?

Poor man who is in front of me
His eyes are blind folded,
Merely persuaded by angelic voice of siren,
Imprinting the footsteps trod by others...

Good reasoning was forgotten,
Hark by false common sense
Now, this land is suffering
Because of the opaque picture shared by many.

** can't think of anything right now so as of now I'll leave it that way and I'll try to rewrite it if I'm in the mood... but still I'm open to your suggestions or comments. THANK YOU!
