Pushing you

by Miss Lonely Teacher   May 2, 2011

I'm pushing you
over the edge;

testing the ground.

Below lies my past,
and all it's demons.
So I'm pushing you.

How far will you go?

Will you give up,
like the others before,
and sink down, down,
further into my past?

Am I pushing too hard?

Please don't leave.
Grab the rope I've lowered...

I'm trying to pull you back up.

Please don't let go;
sinking into that dark place
that I never want to visit again.

Please. Grab hold the rope,

And pull me down with you?
