She Knows

by Princess Victory   May 10, 2011

Tragic tales that never end,
Love stories that continue to mend
broken hearts and fractured souls.
A lullaby that forever lulls
Baby boys and girls to sleep
As they lay there counting sheep.
Answers that lie deep inside
A girl who has always shied.
Why do tragic tales not end?
Why do love stories continue to mend?
Why does a lullaby lull forever?
As if it could actually make you whole?
She knows the answers to all these questions,
But forever she will keep them safe like mother hens
Who count their chicks as they put them to bed.
And, of course, let it not be said,
That she still searches for answers herself,
Though most are hidden in her Father's shelf.
She will not find them till after she dies,
As deep in the ground her body lies.
Forever she will be in her Father's kingdom,
As He patiently beckons her to come.
She will live in a mansion, and walk streets of gold,
And she will never worry, for she will never grow old!
She will know all the answers that escaped her before,
Though now they will mean nothing to her anymore!
And there she will be by her Savior's side,
While her loved ones grieved and cried.
They will join me soon, she thought with a grin.
They are almost out of that lion's den!
We will all be together, forever and ever,
And we will never miss our old world, no, never!
