Opposites

by Gravity   May 17, 2011

She lies because she's scared
I tell the truth because I'm strong
She studiers and hides
I yell with pride
She has an attitude to cover the sobs
I have an attitude because I know it's wrong
She crys because it hurts
I cry because i see her hurt
She runs outside to keep from braking
I run outside to keep from shaking
She huddles in a ball, trying not to ball
I huddle in a ball, trying not to fall
She get up to be like me
I get up to fix it all
She crawls into bed and forgets it all
I go to bed thinking of it all
She goes to bed tired and finish
I go to bed awake and skittish
She wakes up to run from the pain
I get up to flush it all down the drain
