Secret Water

by TearsLeftUndried   Jun 5, 2011

Lost in the eyes of water.
It's trembling ripples embrace my fears.
They mold my dreams into substance.

The sky breaks open drops of hope.
Each one brings promise of new beginnings.
I stand silent in a field of dreams
Overlooking the secret water.
It stares at me knowingly, softly reflecting the moonlight.

The gentle current laps the shore,
I listen to the beat of its heart,
Strong, courageous, protective.

The Star's tears fall upon my face
And whisper words of faith.
"Fear not my child, I'll relieve your suffering."

I wade into the depths of its watery vow.
Can't close my eyes for I may lose sight of the truth. The waves lick my legs inviting me deeper into silence and solitude. The secret kingdom of water opens.

The misty moonlight diffuses as I drink deeply and am eternally bound to my sea of salvation.
