I thought it was over
I thought I had one
The battle is over
But the war has now begun

The war inside me
The one that was always there
The one that urgres me to sleep
To sleep with no further despair

This is what I wish:
To drift of into eternal peace,
Never to wake again.
And have my endless misery cease
This is what I want in the end

To be able to sleep
Without the pain of knowing,
What each day brings,
What each day will be showing.

Maybe tonight I will win this war
I will be able to sleep a blistful slumber
Maybe tonight will be the night
The night I close my eyes forever.
