Deathly Secrets

by TearsLeftUndried   Oct 8, 2007

In my heart,
That is where my secrets dwell.
They beg to be heard.
From my mouth, I'll never tell.

They slowly turn my insides black.
With no remorse, they scream
But I cannot tell a soul or else
They will devour me.

Some escape from my eyes,
When I'm all alone at night.
They are silent, but loud on my cheeks.
Tell my secrets, they just might

They're suffocating me
I'm drowning in my own sorrow
Suddenly I realize,
For me, there will be no tomorrow

They're killing me,
Tearing at my core.
But I kept my secrets,
Till grave I bore.
