Crimson and Gold

by Shinobi   Jun 7, 2011

Life's been shattered before an ocean blue
Crimson tears crushed over waterfalls of gray
Such golden beauty blinding to view
As ones heart is falsely led astray

Dwelling within sweet melodies of pain
Answering calls from behind cold glass
With wings folded, praying in the rain
As another glorious year had come to pass

Innocence expressed through hopes and dreams
While angels cascade her body in gold
Once again drenched in the crimson streams
Leading her to a land long ago foretold

Believing someday all will come to pass
As a brighter future is yet to unfold
Her charming beauty and unmatched class
Will forever be tainted in crimson and gold
