I have always hoped

I have always hoped that I had what it takes
To make it to paradise past sneaky snakes
Often I have feared the tempting apple of my eye
Afraid of being alone as if I would die

Rejection is what I have dreaded the most
Hunted and haunted by eternal ghosts,
Of lost lovers never to be fully found,
Yet their memories are forever around.

The Eve of my life was long since buried
Before I would have a chance to be married
But what if had not the heart to even try,
To be tempted at least once before I die ?

    That's the biggest fear alot of people have ..

    Rejection is what I have dreaded the most

    You can never know until you try, ya rejection is hard, but never trying then missing the chance to do so is ever harder to live with ..

    ^^
    The use of "Hunted" and "Haunted" in the same sentence is kinda made it really deep ..

    ^^
    Just made me cry :(
