Unsettled and Restless

by Collin   Jun 15, 2011

Unsettled and restless
what a disgusting mess
i've let it consume me
changing how I see

I turn and I wait
for the final due date
as I waste life high
As love passes by

I want to want, grace.
Accepting is hard to face
Im scared of being let go
motivation to deal with the lows

I want to want, you.
To live in your love everyday
To honestly not be afraid
And know I can overcome.

Take it slow they tell me
Just try and see clearly
"No, too drastic, to extreme"
Find a middle theme

FIND A MIDDLE MORALITY?
if you see black and white
why find a place to compromise
Why settle for all the lies

i understand what sin is
but i cant seem to escape it.

Maybe that's when we truly understand
that were never going to be whole
I need to trust Christ for the plan
Grace is not earned, but only accepted.
