The Grasp of Love (Song)

by Ramblings of an ageing Kid   Jun 22, 2011

She's got a voice of an angel
She's got a quivering soul
Craving the grasp of love
Or nothing at all

She looked up high
The sky seems so shallow
She sees the stars
Following her own moonlight shadow
The clouds seem thicker
But makes her feel so hollow
Inside

She's got a voice of an angel
She's got a quivering soul
Craving the grasp of love
Or nothing at all

She gazed into the sea
Just as blue as it seems
Faking gloom to fill its shores
With devious plans and devious schemes
I saw her standing there
Claiming to search not for that stream
The grasp of love she longs to taste
The grasp of love that haunts her dreams

And when she spoke sanity my mind kept dazzling around
And when she touched my heart, my mind was lost and never found
And care I not about the lost for I feel fine
I shouldn't be troubled my mind has always been a burden on my lonesome heart
I am just happy I found her and lost my mind

She's got a voice of an angel
She's got a quivering soul
I'll give her all my love
I'll give it all
