Sit and Be My World

by Andrea Trapp   Jun 26, 2011

Sit awhile with me
and you will know
you are my world.

There are things you cannot see
that I might some day show
while you are sitting with me.

And we drink some Good Earth tea
you may not always know
but you are everything to me.

And if you just wait and see
the way we ebb and flow
you’ll never stop sitting awhile with me.

We’ve climbed higher than the oak tree
and fallen together so low;
All the while you held my world.

We are young and we are free
and time will never move slow.
So come and sit awhile with me
while you are still my world.
