Phantoms ~There is no face worth showing...~

by Marcus blake   Jul 2, 2011

Unlike a life of success though I can't complain something is forever missing
Many pieces of my life have been severed and so shards of me are shattered about
Unlike giving ones heart to another, its not so simple to hand ones self over
When words lose that mutual feeling, things become complicated, excessive
Where do weary souls go? I'd like to accompany them... I'd like to know where peace resides
Vague emotions of my past poison my mind thus i could never be stable, never serene...
Why do closed worlds have keys if the path is never locked? I see the dream but only when I'm dreaming...
Tragedy's locket plays an everlasting song of sadness that never stops playing
So when everything stops and the world turns toward me, I can only support it as it has supported me
Who could care for the lose of another but the kind but the brave but the caring...
No one could ever understand this great pain, this loneliness felt
For ever poem and thoughtless word was an intention that could never be understood
What can I offer the world to give me back a life I never had, that i would wander forever
A phantom in this world whose face forever wore a mask
There was a man beneath these lies and tears but not anymore
"I have no name anymore"
