Wake Me From This Nightmare

Scared little girl
Pretty as a pearl
Her dark past
Still leaves her harassed

Each night she's cursed with
What some only see as a myth
The demons rise from hell
All she can do is yell

Running from her fears
Everything she knows disappears
Searching for the way out
Desperate, despite her doubts

Kicking and screaming
The moon lay in the midnight sky, gleaming
"Wake me from this nightmare!", she cried
A part of her inside had died

Don't be surprised by the scare
