No Boundaries

The story of love is not far away
The tale of two children, afraid to disobey
Christian parents with strong religious views
Their hearts were broken and easily bruised

They met in June
One Sunday afternoon
It was love at first sight
It just felt all too right

They are older now, got their own opinions
No longer are they their parent's minions
The met with their families, ready to plea
Surprisingly, they could all agree

The lovely couple shouted with joy
Like they were little again, with a new toy
The date was set
They felt very little fret

As the day approached, the bride walked down the aisle
With her head held high, she saw her partner smile
Her daddy was their to show his support
He was ready for duty, ready to report

They were getting married, despite their same-sex
They exchanged a few quick pecks
Smiling they turned to the crowd
Happily they each bowed

Love is forever at least that's what they say
Love has no boundaries, even if it's gay
Forever they will remain as one
This is the time that love has truly won
