Frozen

by Mel   Jul 10, 2011

Wintry whispers
Caress bare shoulders
Where rougher hands may have been
Years before.
Strings of ghostly feathers
Sweep across frozen flesh.
Back and forth,
Stealing a shudder or two.

A sigh melts into the night's black frost,
As does the rest of the ice
From this lover's touch.
Bitten lips shiver and tremble in this new delight.

An undeserved pleasure
That illuminates this soft prison cell.
Such a sweet warmth radiates
From the soul beside her.
A forceful magnetic pull,
Entwining two opposites
Creating a desire so overwhelming,
I can barely breathe.
