Crossroads.

by Chelsea   Jul 14, 2011

I see the crossroads.
They're right there, right in front of me.
And I'm so scared, scared to death.
I wish I knew which way to turn.
I wish you were here.
But I have to stand alone.
I have to be strong.
I look to my left.
And all I can see is you.
You and the misery you caused.
To my right I see a lie.
A life of hiding and faking smiles.
But I see that you're happy.
Happy with her.
So I breathe like it's the last breath I'll ever take.
And I cry the last tears I will ever cry.
And taking one last look at you, I take the right road.
Though only time will tell if it was the right choice to make.
