You Will Never Know

by Chelsea   Jan 19, 2020

You will never know,
the hell I’m living in,
every morning,
choking down the pills with fire to ease the pain.

You will never know,
every sacrifice I would have made,
to fix the mistakes,
you cannot even bear to face.

You will never know,
how the glint of silver tempts me,
how deep I would have to dig,
to erase the memories.

You will never know,
I will never let you go,
let the years pass by me,
it won't change what I have always known.

You will never know.
