Memories

I can remember a lot from my childhood,
Some good and some bad.
I can remember my mum always going to hospital,
I used to make fake flowers for her.
I can remember when I was locked in a suitcase by my older brother.
I can remember the type of cereal my auntie had when I stayed there at the age of four.
I can remember when my pop died, I stayed with relatives while mum dad and my older brother went to the funeral.
We made paper people and paper flying carpets.
The woman put peppermints into a tissue.
I can remember our old pets.
Getting bashed by my older and younger brother.
Getting hurt by love and friendships.
Dad used to make a garden for us kids but we watered it too much and killed the plants.
I can remember getting abused by people I know.
I can remember my nan and pop used to bring Easter eggs with nugget pieces in them.
I can remember having lipstick on when I was little cause I didn’t soil my nappy.

A few of these are good memories and some are bad but I am glad that I have hem to hold and cherish.
