Destiny

by Dr sarat sonowal   Jul 21, 2011

Came within a distance
to touch the horizon
Awaken with the kiss of rain
lost in the rain
With a question to answer
Sure to live
Unsure to die
The stream of consciousness
Flows through the night
Like the wine to the sailors
aah...time freezes
With a promise never to stop
The ship reaches the shore
Only to fake the time
That has been lost
Destiny......
Yet again fallen
I have to climb again
Seemingly
Should have reached there
With a handful of sands on the hand
My destiny..
It was written with grace
Went through a lot of pain
The distance seems a lot more grave
oh..what a mess
I have woken
When i should have taken a rest

When one sleeps, one can be anyone with anything and when reality awakes it all disappears and a sad truth sinks in for destiny has carved out another life; at least that is what I got from reading this. Filled with longings and shrouded mystery...take care.
