When the sun comes up I feel anew
Even though I'm missing you.
Each day goes by that your away

Lost in day dreams, as time drags by
Back to reality, once again I try

T-shirts, pictures, the smell of your cologne
Makes me feel much less alone
The comfort of the thought of you
Gives me the extra strength to push through

Every email helps so much
Even though I crave your touch
As one tear falls, rolls down my cheek
I must be strong, cannot be weak.

I say to myself it wont be to long
Can missing you this much be so wrong?
The day comes to an end, I realize this,
Going to bed with no goodnight kiss!

So when the moon rises and the sun sets
I lie in bed with no regrets
With each night I close my eyes
