Your Little Girl

by shannon   Jul 24, 2011

You watched me grow, you helped me talk
You fed me well, and taught me to walk.

We played games, and barbies too
You always taught me the right thing to do.

You dealt with me through my rebellious years
And during tough times wiped away my tears.

I've back talked you and done you wrong
But your my mom, our bond is strong.

I've grown up and I've moved on
But your still the one I count upon.

We still share lots of laughs and smiles
Doesn't matter far, doesn't matter the miles.

But as I grow and my life unfurls
I know this, I'll always be your little girl,
