The Heart breaker's Song

by shannon   Jul 24, 2011

Our love was one strong
But I was then again wrong
To say that you loved me
Just let me be
Look at what you did to me, yours will break too.
To say that I was everything
And you would do anything
Lies and excuses you hold deep within
You lied about everything you did
Look at what you did to me, yours will break too
I no longer cry for the one I once loved
Because you simple lied when push came to shove
Don't apologize, because sorry doesn't work
Let me show you how it feels
Look at what you did to me, yours will break to.

*This was a school project in the 10th grade. A poem I wrote for English Class.

This poem was short but it said a lot about heartbreak. There are many truths in this piece as what goes around tends to come around
