The Satisfaction Of Revenge

by Hurtingsoul   Aug 2, 2011

This is a sequel to "The Inner Thoughts Of Revenge" I suggest you read that first, however this can also act as a stand alone.
--------------------------------------------------------------------

At the edge of still waters
I sit firmly on wet sand
My watch marks 5 am
And nothing else matters

The sun slowly rises
Orange hues strikes my eyes
I begin to reminisce last night
Memories of blood fiercely arises

Eventually gray skies turn blue
A warm sensation tickles me
A small salty tear falls free
As I hear the sirens on cue

My cell phone shows my last call
911 are the numbers on the screen
I called in a murder, watching him bleed
As he died sliding down a wall

My revenge was finally finished
As the cops slowly approach me
I know that I'll never be redeemed
But I'm happy knowing you're diminished

I warned you I'd come for you
Remember "I'll sacrifice my entry to
heaven, for your blood on my hands"?
Remember "I'll, see you, soon"?

So now I sit at the ocean's shore
Mere seconds from being arrested
After years of grudges I feel rested
Your worst mistake was killing her
