Experiment of Love

by Owner of an Untamed Heart   Aug 4, 2011

According to my intuition, my main mission
Is to find love because it's my heart's nutrition
So I'm wondering if I have your permission
To do an experiment of what love can do

Don't worry about the petty competition
Love is the only condition
You don't have to be a mathematician
To know in addition, one plus one equals two

You have to promise me my heart won't break
Make me believe choosing you wasn't a mistake
I have to feel alive and awake
When I'm trying to observe something like love

I don't think I can take my first heartache
It might make my whole world have an earthquake
For this to work, the love can't be fake
I'm not saying you have to be sent from above

This doesn't have to perfect; it just has to be worth it
Don't let me have all power; sometimes it's good to be assertive
This tradition of your position is for love's sake
This experimental gain has to be worth to partake
There can be wrongs but we have to stay strong
We have to stick together; tag each other along
