A gaze through my memory

by Dr sarat sonowal   Aug 8, 2011

Such a pensive state the clouds are in
It sits as a crown on the head of the mountain lord
The clear air just soothes everything
It brings the inner joy and just makes me wonder
This is what serenity means
May it remain for hours
It will open up the whole book
The book called life

As I look around
I see the kingdom of pine trees
The beautiful pointed leaves
And the dripping water
From the melt of the morning frost

A magnificent overview of the Lake Umium
The still water and the clear blue sky above
On this fine wintry morning
It makes me write of Mother Nature
Mother ...Mother Nature your are so kind
You teach me to live life
Like the pines and rustic clouds
Life which is a gift..a gift of life

A gaze through my memory
The memory of times
When the mind and soul was so pure
Is what remains now
To inspire me to write
To write when I feel my mind and soul

Another beautiful write from a nature lover. I loved this stanza:

    As I look around the
I see the kingdom of pine trees
    The beautiful pointed leaves
    And the dripping water
From the melt of the morning frost
