Intertwined

by Chelsey   Aug 31, 2011

From your relaxed, smoothed hand-
Knuckles, bones, skin
Enlaced, twisted together
filling the vacant spaces,
between my fingers

Peculiar shaped, yet beautiful-
Pink, soft, and warm
Tangled, criss-crossed.
Blocking my very breath,
my lips in the midst of yours

Comfortable, under covers-
Egyptian cotton, lilac scent
Braided, like two pretzels
Our thighs on one another,
Trapping our every move

You know... most poems that don't rhyme I usually have a tuff time really liking. That is SOO not the case with this poem. I REALLY LIKED IT!
It got me thinking about my Girl, I'll tell you that much. Amazing piece... thank you for sharing it.
