What Can We Do?

Never ending circles of lies, deceit
taking our hard earned money
for what, to pay yourselves?
If not where is it going?

The streets look bad,
they're getting worse!
Where are the taxes going?
Toward those new houses
that no one is buying!

We could use that money for other things.
Putting new siding on the house,
getting new windows,
painting the yellowing walls
or I don't maybe on our future kids.

What the hell is wrong with this town?
What is wrong with our entire government?
We need a change but that scares most people.
What can we do?

    Noura might freak a little if she sees that you capitalised all letters that the verses start with, I used to do that aswell though because I was convinced it's right, but back to topic:
    I think this is a well penned poem that flows good and I think that it is realyl meaning full. Well done :)
