My Life

I have lived my life to fulfill others.
I have lived my life to enrich everyone else.
I have lived my life in the shadows of others.

I have come to a crossroad.
My love no longer is in love with me.
My friends have betrayed me.

So now I stand in front of the mirror,
Old, worn out by the daily battle of life.
Lonely because I have been left behind.
