The Great Outdoors

by Innocent Fairy   Sep 5, 2011

I sit here
in the woods
as the sun dies down
and the fireflies come out to play.
The smell of campfire in the air
wafting through the great outdoors.
A chilly breeze
sweeping through the night
running up and down your spine
as the hair on your skin stands up.
The rain is far away
but the green is all around
camping out
I'm here to stay
and fresh air comes my way.
The great outdoors
is where the animals roam
and their life is played out
as destiny's planed
in natures land.
I observe
while cooking over the campfire
enjoying the great outdoors.
In the wilderness
living off the land.
My life is spent
doing what God has planed.
Searching through
the great unknown
I make my stand
doing God's plan.
