Awake

Heartbreak is a wake
and life's not a piece of cake.

You can want and desire
but your dreams won't transpire
when your the only one with fire.

You wait and you try but their that blind
and you've only wasted your time,
now you just want a goodbye.

They won't realize what they've done,
just keep going on,
doing the same old stuff.

And you have to accept,
that the change won't come
because they've decided,
your not important enough.
