Soul Storm

by Gabrielle   Sep 13, 2011

The rain tears down the fogged window
Similar to the face of a transparent being
Crying uncontrollably, sobbing in despair

The trees sag with weight of the falling water
As if they were shoulders, weighed down with sadness
Adding to the despair, complimenting the dreary

The wind howls as the thoughts do in the mind,
echoing off the walls, shaking the barrier,
Shrieking and tantalizing all around

The sky blackens out the sun and moon,
Like the pupil clouding over,
losing it life, and losing its shine

One in the same are the soul and a storm,
Tired and drawn out, screaming and destroying,
Never on the right day.

The sun goes out crushing dreams,
fulfilling the morbid dreams of others.
