The Girl

by Hayden Nation   Sep 25, 2011

Beyond the hill
In a wasted land,
There sites a girl,
A skull in hand.
Her face is pale,
Eyes shot white
As she looks beyond
Pass the darkness of night.
Around her feet
Blood paints the ground,
And cracked little bones
Lay scattered around.
Haunted forever
She awaits her fate,
Knowing it is cruel
And filled with hate.
So there she sits
Face blank from expression,
Eyes straight ahead
And filled with depression.
