You buried me

by Miss Lonely Teacher   Oct 14, 2011

Oh how i wish we'd never met
you changed my life, i'll never forget
things you said
and things you did, still spin 'round my head
if i'd turned away
never read you, i'd still be okay
(still be alive)

and you're the one that buried me
nail in the coffin of my beliefe
believing in you, in all you could do
it killed me.

try not to listen, try not to hear
all the useless wishin' got me nowhere
so i'll stop my ears, stop your lies
(stop it all)
before my self-respect dies

and you're the one that buried me
nail in the coffin of my belief
believing in you, in all you could do
it killed me.

bury me, take the light, take my life
and bury me, kill my heart, kill my soul
and bury me, leave me empty, leave me here
and bury me, so deep that i can't breathe
you've buried me
it's so hard to believe
