Awake the sleeping artisan
bedding deep within your core..
Rise up and create magnificent
things that are now snoozing in
shadows.

Light the lamp of imagination
as your pen glides across
an empty void, bringing
to life wonders yet untold.

Allow the world to view
your magical spiraling colors,
untouched yet contaminated
with endowment.

Poet arise with pen in hand
take me to far off places
fill my heart with sadness
and romance. Lead me to
the land of awe.

    Wow... I absolutely love this poem! I'm in awe! I loved the meaning and the story of this poem... I love how you are talking to yourself, and possibly other people, to bring out the poets in them... So lovely! And your word choice was perfect... It made me inspired and proud to be a poet!
