Bronc Riders Prayer

by TJ Arizona Eagle   Apr 4, 2012

Gates of hell burst open wide
Muscles taut fire in his eyes
Head tucked low the hatred spreads
Cowboy prayers silently said

Devils own black twisted heart
Redemption ride from the start
God protect this fragile man
Keep him safe from Satan's hand

This is awesome! I love rodeos as I said, I love the bull riders because they love what they do but they also love God and they always pray before they go out to ask for Gods safety to be upon them so a bull doesnt crush them or break bones...

So intense! I love this poem just as much as I love the rodeos lol

    First, I love the title.

Second, althought the poem itself was short, but the feelings you get from it can be extended to so many things.

    Really good piece.
