Doll

by Lyssi Lori   Oct 17, 2011

Lipstick lullalies and forgotten goodbyes,
Filled the doll that no one would buy.
Lost dreams and unthinkable fears,
The only thing the doll ever hears.
Empty promises and sad farewells,
Left her where darkness dwells,
Silly crushes and a broken heart,
The doll is slowly falling apart.
Uncertainty and courage lacked,
Always left her in the back.
Misleading words and wasted wishes,
There lies the doll that no one misses.
