Baby, I've been hearing different things
About how you are through
I just want to know deep down
Are you done with me and you?

I can't sit here any longer
Wishing on something that isn't true
I've given you everything in this world
I just don't know what to do

I tuck you in to bed every night
And whisper I love you in your ear
Hold you until you fall asleep
Promising you, I'll always be here

I send you flowers every week
And I've been holding onto something
Waiting for the perfect moment
To surprise you with an engagement ring

I have never look at another
The way I look at you every day
I want you to know I truly love you
And my love will never fade away

I've always believed that you were the one
In my pocket, I hold a lucky clover
As I lay here with tears in my eyes,
I have to ask, are we really over?

    This is amazing. emotion is abundant and strong. The story is good too. The rhyme scheme feels forced, the flow is a nice recovery though. There isnt much origonality, but there is personality and a true voice. The tone is nice and it starts at the very beginning which is nice.

    Amazing freaking amazing poem :).
    The love is flawless, only wanting to be with her & propose. When asking yourself trying to hold is it really over as your heart breaks apart.

    The sweetness of your words just amazes me.

    Its hard to lose someone you have all of those feelings for, its even harder to forget them and move on, you just keep on wondering was it really over ?!
