Where were you?

by fakingeverything   Oct 30, 2011

Where were you when my defenses hit the ground

And shattered into pieces, spreading all around.

Where were you when the razor hold my interest

And made me cut to bleed out the sickness.

Where were you when life didn't seem worth it

And I swallowed all the pills till I tasted vomit.

Where were you when I was writing my suicide letters

And almost took my own life just to feel better.

Where were you when I was screaming your name

And crying at night because of the pain.

You should have been there for me through thick and thin.

Should have held my hand when it all got grim.

But instead you ran away like the little coward that you are

And left behind a broken girl with hundreds of scars.
