Blood

by kiara   Oct 31, 2011

Let me start from the beginning
Try to make it normal that way
So that the sound of my blood
Doesn't run you astray
Drip, Drip, Drip...
Oops, there goes the life ebbing flow
That precious liquid that moistens the soul
Running so freely down the floor
Slowly, so slowly it languidly goes
Drip, Drip, Drip...
It doesn't seep quite fast enough
Flows out in such a slow pace
Oh, I am sorry I fell in a trance
Watching my blood as it runs down with grace
Drip, Drip, Drip...
Forgive my gazing, let me start
Please don't mind my blood leaving its mark
I got tired you see, of my life as it was
That's why you find me alone with the dark
Drip, Drip, Drip...
Life is so pointless if you enter my shoes
You would end up sitting down and doing this too
So simple it is, just a deep cut from a blade
Pierce it through your veins and out blood flows through
Drip, Drip, Drip...
Crimson blood soaks up my sleeves and sheets
And the sustenance of my life lies freely on the floor
This exquisite high has me in such great ease
But sorry if my blood has flowed passed the door
Drip, Drip, Drip...
There goes that sound probably driving you insane
But don't worry my time is running away
In a few seconds I will be all gone
The sound of my blood, will be kept at bay
Drip, Drip, Drip...
My last few precious drops escape my body
And slowly oh so slowly they slide down my hands
So there's my story, sorry I went astray
But if you listen closely, my blood could tell a story more grand
