The King

by kiara   Dec 10, 2011

Long live the king
So bow reverently
Encage the being
Imprison the will
Relinquish the soul
There are no such things,
In his world

All hail the king
He takes dominion
The complete monarch
Ruler of everything
Dictator of my existence
Takes control of my life,
Without wincing

May God bless the king
As he lifts those hands
Imprinting his mark
Marking his property
Scarring the flesh
Degrading his subject,
Without duress

Adore the king
Through bruised skin
Shattered bones
Bleeding organs
Ragged soul
Dare to never do,
As untold

Long live the king
My dying love
My dearest demise
With marring breath
I bow at the throne
Nothing left,
He has control
