Cut The Slience

How long has it been,
Since we've lasted talked,
Days, weeks, months?
Cause to me it feels,
Like its been eternity.
It feels like this never-ending slience between us,
Just won't ever end,
And, truth be told, it's tearing me up inside.

I miss you,
Miss your smile,
The sound of your familiar voice,
The way you'd wrap your arms around me.
So, please, cut the slience,
And talk to me again.

I know we're through,
I know we can't ever be the same again,
But I just can't stand this slience.
It drives me insane, you know,
The way you so easily ignore me,
And how you never look me in the eye anymore.

Weren't you my best friend?
Weren't we so close before all of this happened?
I thought you said nothing could ever,
Break us apart.
You said we could make it through anything,
You Said We'd Last,
Though now as I look back,
I now realize that everything you told me,
Everything you Promised me,
Turned out to be nothing more,
Than a lie.

    I can really relate to this poem, and I understand your pain. I actually feel the same way for a person right now. I'll give it a 5/5 because of the amazing way you put your emotions in this poem.
    Though I would have liked it to end a bit different :)

    Its crazy how much I relate to this poem.

    -I know this feeling, realizing that every promise said, every word spoken was nothing but some big lie. When at the time you thought it would be forever, not never.

    You can tell this is written from your heart. That it pains you inside to be out of eachothers lives, that he can easily pretend you don't exist.

    But remember girl. Guys rarely show their true feelings, they have this ego thing especially infront of there friends.
