A Heart Of Stone Sinks Fast

by Miss Lonely Teacher   Nov 3, 2011

As we dive in this water
you are sinking so very fast.
And I sink with you as i hold on tight.
If I let you go I know i can be saved;
I could float back up...
And you'd sink alone.
But I can never let you go.
If I did my heart would become stone
and i'd sink alone, as you sink alone
and we'd both be lost forever,
lost together but alone.
Si I'll hold tight
wrapping you in my love so you're warm
as we sink faster in this cold dark;
as we continue dragging down
and slowly,
so slowly,
together we drown.
