Feelings of the Heart

Why does my heart feel like this,
Why does it feel like soaring,
In the sky, fly like the birds,
Shine like the stars one minutern
But then shatter in the next.

Why do we fall like this,
Why do we let ourselves hurt like this,
We let ourselves float,
Hoping for a happy life,
But reality hits us like a hammer,
And we plummet into darkness.

Why do we do this,
Why must we love then hate,
Is it the human nature,
Why do we condemn ourselves to this?

Why am I here,
Why do I float in this darkness,
Alone,
Why did you leave?
I hear a laugh,
Mine, but it is not real,
I hide the pain,
Why does my heart feel like this?
