A Dreaming Heart

I lay here and
picture you next to me
holding me through the night
keeping me safe an warm

I would love
to awake in the morning
and see your face
awake from a kiss

Hold me tight
keep me by your side
I promise I'll do the same
because I want to be
by your side

Their is time
I can wait
though through the time
that we've had already
my feelings have grown stronger
though time is what we shall do

I don't know
if I should call my feelings
butterflies

For you are
my hearts call

And right now
I can't stand to be away
from you much longer

Hear my hearts plea
be with me

    This poem really speaks to the heart of the reader. Your words really help the reader to build up a picture in their head. I loved this from start to end.
